WHISKEY SMASH

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • 2 ounces bourbon whiskey
  • 1/4 of a lemon
  • 3 or 4 fresh mint leaves plus more for garnishing

Instructions

  1. In a mixing glass, combine the lemon, simple syrup, and mint leaves.
  2. Muddle together.
  3. Add Bourbon and shake with ice.
  4. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice and garnish with mint leaves.
