Italian Sloppy Joe Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms


  • 8 Large Portobello Mushrooms
  • Olive Oil
  • 1 Lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Can Original Manwich, 15.5oz
  • 1 Cup Chopped Frozen Spinach
  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes, 14.5 oz
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Chopped Parsley
  • Salt/Pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Remove stems and gills from mushrooms. Rub mushrooms with olive oil and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Drain any liquid from mushrooms.
  3. In large skillet, brown ground beef. Drain grease and return beef to pan. Add Manwich, spinach, tomatoes, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until thickened.
  4. Spoon mixture into prepared mushrooms. Top with shredded cheese. Bake at 400°F for 5 minutes.
  5. Top with chopped parsley, salt and pepper. Serve.
