Blackberry Mojito

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz white rum
  • 8 mint leaves
  • 10 blackberries a handful – about 10-12 berries
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • 1 Tbsp sugar or less depending on desired sweetness

Things You’ll Need

  • Muddler
  • Jigger
  • Highball glasses

Instructions

  1. Add blackberries, mint, lemon juice from one wedge and lime juice from one wedge to tall glass.
  2. Muddle with a muddler until blackberries are crushed.
  3. Add rum.
  4. Add ice to almost fill the cup.
  5. Fill glass with club soda. Mix thoroughly with a straw, stick, or spoon.
  6. Garnish with lemon, lime, and fresh blackberries.

Expert Tips & FAQs

  • We use regular granulated white sugar, but some may prefer to use simple syrup in its place. To do so, simply sub the granulated sugar for 3 teaspoons simple syrup.
